Elden Ring: How To Get Ghiza's Wheel

You spin me right 'round.

Elden Ring's massive selection of weapons ranges from typical swords to wild gimmick weapons that can be as useful as they are special. The latter is perhaps best showcased by Ghiza's Wheel, an obvious homage to Bloodborne's Whirligig Saw and one of the game's most intriguing options for high Strength builds looking to get a little weird with things. If you're hoping to obtain this colossal spinning saw, we've got you covered.

Ghiza's Wheel explained

Ghiza's Wheel is a giant iron weapon that requires 28 Strength and 18 Dexterity to wield. Despite being extremely large and slow to swing, its passive causes it to build up blood loss on enemies. And you can use that to your advantage even further by taking advantage of its weapon skill.

The weapon skill for Ghiza's Wheel is called Spinning Wheel, and it does precisely what it sounds like--it spins the saw portion of the weapon at a deadly speed while you're free to move around with it. If used properly against relatively immobile enemies, this can absolutely demolish a health bar with that added bleed effect.

Ghiza's Wheel's item description reads:

Great iron wheel lined with flesh-flaying blades. Device of torture used by Inquisitor Ghiza. As the wheel spins it causes severe pain and blood loss. The design was adopted for use as the iconic weapon wielded by Iron Virgins.

Where to find Ghiza's Wheel

Ghiza's Wheel is found within the upstairs dining hall inside the main chambers of Volcano Manor. There are multiple ways to reach Volcano Manor, the most straightforward of which is to trek up and around the steep and dangerous Mt. Gelmir, which is located to the west of Altus Plateau.

There is also Rya's simple questline that can be started in Liurnia of the Lakes. She can be found north of Laskyar Ruins where she'll send you on a short quest. When you complete it and return to her, she will then move to Altus Plateau, either at the top of the Grand Lift of Dectus or by the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace. Speaking to her there will trigger the option to be teleported to Volcano Manor.

In order to obtain Ghiza's Wheel, you'll have to take down its original owner, Inquisitor Ghiza, who waits for you in the aforementioned dining hall. He's not particularly challenging to defeat due to his slow speed, but he does hit hard when he manages to catch you in a swing, so don't get too greedy. Once he falls, you'll have one of the game's most interesting weapons and be prepared for whatever comes next on your adventure.
