Eidos' sequel to Battlestations: Midway is set to sizzle this summer, and we're not just talking about exploding ordnance. The publisher has announced that, in addition to a lineup of virtual dolls, British burlesque artist Polly Rae will be appearing in Battlestations: Pacific as one of the Allies' pinup girls.

According to a statement Eidos issued today, "Rae is the founder and front woman of Britain's leading, award-winning troupe, 'Hurly Burly,' and will be available as one of the many pieces of nose art to decorate your in-game US aircraft, taking forces' sweethearts into the thick of battle." Rae has previously worked with British lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, appeared on the cover of Time Out, and even performed at the 2007 Games Media Awards alongside the rest of Hurly Burly.

Battlestations: Pacific follows the American and Japanese campaigns in the Pacific theatre after the Battle of Midway and is heading to frontlines across Europe this May, on the Xbox 360 and PC. For more on Battlestations, check out our previous coverage.
