When it comes to video games conventions, Aussies are usually only able to watch from afar as America, Europe, and Asia play host to most of the major shows. Over the past few years several Australian video game expos have come and gone, with little success. Earlier this month saw EB Games Australia announce its first EB Games Expo, but details were fairly scarce.

Today, the retail giant announced the official list of exhibitors, with the usual suspects all making an appearance. The three major hardware manufacturers--Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft--will be in attendance, as will the likes of 2K, Activision, Capcom, Bethesda Softworks, Codemasters, Disney Interactive Studios, EA, Konami, Incomm, Namco Bandai Partners, Pop Cap, QVC, Sega, Square Enix, THQ, and Ubisoft. Hardware and peripheral makers, like Logitech, Plantronics, Turtle Beach, Bluemouth, and Parrot ARDrone, will also be on hand to show off their latest toys and accessories.

The EB Games Expo will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 15th and 16th of October. Games aside, the expo will also play host to the World Cyber Games Australian finals on Saturday and a live cosplay competition on Sunday.
