EA's Online Competition

Electronic Arts is preparing to launch its second annual EA Sports Internet Tour, which features a US$20,000 first prize and $65,000 in total cash prizes.

Players will compete on EA's Tiger Woods 99 PGA Tour title, using the EA Sports Net service. Five weekly tournaments will be held from Sept. 27 through Nov. 1; the top four competitors at each of the first four weekly events will split $9,000 in prize money. The winners and runners-up from those rounds qualify for the championships, held at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, Ga.
