Earthbound figure campaign to begin in Japan

Coca-Cola Company and a convenience store chain in Japan will begin a campaign to release Mother 1+2 key-chain figures with drink purchases. For a limited time starting tomorrow in Japan, beverage buyers will get a free miniature-sized Mother figure for every purchase out of a selected lineup of Coca-Cola products. The campaign will take place only in the Community Store convenience stores in Japan, and it will run until the stock of freebies is gone. There will be a total of six collectable figures: Ness, Paula, Mr. Saturn, Bubble Monkey, Starman Jr., and Master Belch. The Mother series is known as Earthbound in North America.
