As announced earlier this month, Nintendo is at long last bringing SNES games to the 3DS Virtual Console, but only for those with a New 3DS. Today's lineup consists of Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country, and Mario Kart. Each of these costs $8, and there's unfortunately no discount for those who already own them on Wii or Wii U's Virtual Console.
The initial wave of SNES games on 3DS included Super Mario World, Pilotwings, and F-Zero. Three more games are confirmed to be on the way on April 14, and they're some big names: Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Metroid, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Today's eShop update also brings Yoshi's Story to Wii U's Virtual Console, as well as the Director's Cut of Shantae: Risky's Revenge to the console. 3DS, meanwhile, gets Hyrule Warriors Legends, which officially launches tomorrow, March 25.
