EA Unveils Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2's New Hub World, Teases New Content
From flower pots to grave plots.
In the on-going battle between hub worlds and menu systems, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has chosen a side. A new trailer for PopCap's next comedy/action third-person shooter shows off the all-new Backyard Battleground, a playable game space that contains tangible ways to interface with the game's various components.
Players can approach a vending machine to buy sticker packs, activate a portal that warps them into multiplayer matches, or check their stats in a resplendent trophy room. They're also free to capture the central Flag of Power--which triggers a casual King of the Hill-style PvE experience--or explore the outskirts of Zomburbia in search of loot or secret areas, such as the brand new shooting gallery.
