EA to publish Soul Calibur II in Europe

Electronic Arts announces that it will publish the PS2 and Xbox versions of Namco's next fighter in Europe and all PAL territories.

Following Namco's 2908830unveiling of Soul Calibur II in Tokyo yesterday, Electronic Arts has announced that it will publish the PS2 and Xbox versions of the game in Europe and in all PAL territories. No release dates have been announced for the game in Europe, where a publisher for the GameCube version has also yet to be confirmed.

"The original Soul Calibur was one of the best games ever released," said Frank Sagnier, vice president of EA distribution in Europe. "We are extremely excited to be able to expand our relationship with Namco in Europe and other PAL territories and look forward to bringing these exciting games to the market."
