Swedish filmmaker Josef Fares, writer and director of 2013's acclaimed downloadable game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, has a created a new studio, Hazelight. The developer's first game, which you can see a teaser for through the video above, will be published by Electronic Arts.

COO Peter Moore took to the stage tonight during The Game Awards to reveal the partnership with Hazelight, which is led by Fares and staffed by other developers who also worked on Brothers.
A sizzle reel for Hazelight was also shown. In it, EA executive Patrick Soderlund said investing in new IP is critical for the company. He described Hazelight's first game as "unlike anything" he's seen before. He also labeled it "very special."
The untitled game is still very early in production, Fares said, so there was no gameplay shown tonight. The teaser trailer above will have to do for now. You can also check out Hazelight's just-launched website.
