EA to publish Anno 1503

The real-time strategy empire-building game is on its way to the US.

Electronic Arts has signed an agreement with Sunflowers Interactive to publish the upcoming real-time strategy game Anno 1503. Under the agreement, Electronic Arts will distribute the game in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and will publish the product in the rest of the world except Japan. The company will also translate the game into at least 10 languages.

Anno 1503 is the sequel to the popular strategy game 1602 AD, which has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide since its release in 1999. For more information about the game, take a look at our previous coverage. Anno 1503 is scheduled for release later this year.
