EA takes Aussie Mass Effect 2 marketing viral
EA places job ad for a "Biotic-Powered Super-Soldier" down under.
For those on the conservative side of the violence-in-games debate, video games are the tools of the devil that teach young people all manner of nasty things to do to their fellow man. Well, if you've been playing violent video games for a while now and are looking for a practical use of your newfound killing abilities, Australian job site Seek.com.au has you covered.
This morning, a post for a Biotic-Powered Super-Soldier appeared on the popular Australian job site. "You will have a passion for the mercenary industry and a natural flair for killing," the ad stated. "Nothing makes you salivate more than a bloody battle, and a good, messy kill."

Keen-eyed readers will recognise the employer Cerberus mentioned in the job ad as the shadowy organisation that wishes to further the human race through violence and terrorist activities in the Mass Effect universe. In Mass Effect 2, the protagonist Shepard will be forced to work with the group to save the galaxy from a new deadly threat.
If you're thinking of applying for the job, you'd better make sure that you're up to the task because there's one very bleak line that may make you question how badly you want to join: "This is a short-term contract to kill or be killed."
