EA Sponsors Pigskin Playoff

It took a college tour hitting 25 university campuses, but EA Sports has narrowed down the best players of its PlayStation title NCAA Football 98 to eight competitors. Those eight will be brought together as part of the Fed-Ex Orange Bowl pregame festivities to face off in a single elimination competition on Jan. 2 in Miami, FL.

Representatives from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Texas Christian University, Grambling State University, University of Southern California, University of Akron, University of Nebraska, University of Texas-El Paso, and Clemson University will face off in the competition, to be held at 4:00 pm at the Coors Light Orange Bowl Tailgate Party at Pro Player Stadium in the northwest parking lot.
