Electronic Arts has today announced that it will publish Breakdown in Europe in June. The first-person action adventure game, which is currently in development at Namco, will see players assuming the role of a US soldier named Derrick Cole, who, after being badly wounded in combat, is saved as a result of experimental cyborg surgery.

When Cole wakes up in a US research center in Yokohama, Japan, he has no idea who he is or how he has come to be there, and he ends up escaping from the facility with a little help from a female soldier named Alex Henderson. For more information on Breakdown, which is currently scheduled for release in North America next month, check out our previous coverage of the game.
