EA registers Battlefield 13-20 domains
Publisher picks up slew of new domains related to potential future installments in military shooter series.
Electronic Arts has registered domain names for Battlefield 13-20. Spotted by Fusible (via Joystiq), EA on May 2 picked up each of the names through a brand protection company called Corporations Service Company (CSC).
None of the websites are functional.
EA now owns dot-com domain names for Battlefield 2-9 and Battlefield 13-20. Battlefield 10-12 are owned by companies unaffiliated with EA.
By comparison, Fusible points out domains for ModernWarfare 8-20 are currently not registered to Activision or anyone for that matter.
Battlefield 4 launches this fall for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, but not Wii U. It is the fourth core installment in the shooter series, following 2011's Battlefield 3.
