EA Drives Formula One
EA develops PC and video games based on the FIA Formula One Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships.
Electronic Arts today announced that it has signed an agreement with Formula One that will see EA develop PC and video games based on the FIA Formula One Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships, including the Formula One circuit's drivers, teams, cars, and tracks. The games will be developed by EA's EA Sports division. Financial details of the deal were not released.
The Formula One eight-month season includes 16 races on five continents.
EA also has the license to produce games based on NASCAR drivers, cars, and tracks.
