The ESA also announced the Voices of E3 panel series, which will see members of the gaming world talk about diversity, accessibility, game development, voice acting, the evolution of games media, and the impact of real-world events on games.

GameSpot, which is a partner for E3 2021, will take part in this through a roundtable discussion about how games media "acts and reacts in the current sphere of commentary." Editors from IGN, GamesIndustry.biz, PC Gamer, and Polygon will also take part.

Another panel will be hosted by Nerdist's Dan Casey and focus on the gaming-focused TV show Mythic Quest.

There will also be a panel featuring "legendary women of video game voice acting" with Courtenay Taylor (Mass Effect, Fallout 4, Call of Duty), Anjali Bhimani (Overwatch, Apex Legends, Fallout 4: Nuka World), Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Overwatch), Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch, Valorant, GTA5), and Krizia Bajos (Sims 4, League of Legends, Casagrandes) taking part.

A discussion about representation in gaming and efforts to empower black voices is also on the schedule, with Zack "ZackTTG" Mowery (100 Thieves), Fiona Nova (G4, RoosterTeeth), Jay-Ann Lopez (Black Girl Gamers), and Tanya DePass (I Need Diverse Games) on the panel.

Another panel will talk about young entrepreneurs in gaming, featuring Nicole LaPointe Jameson (Evil Geniuses), Taylor Heitzig-Rhodes (Queens Gaming Collective), Katrina Salazar (weThink), and Brittani Johnson (G2 esports). It will be moderated by Mary Margaret of Entertainment Weekly.

Finally, the ESA said the broadcast programming schedule for E3 2021 remains on track to be announced in early June, so that should be available any day now.

E3 2021 runs June 12-15. The schedule so far includes Geoff Keighley's Kick Off event on June 10, followed by Ubisoft Forward on June 12. The Xbox/Bethesda briefing is slated for June 13, with Razer's event following on June 14. Sony is not expected to show up at all. An E3 2021 awards show will cap things off on June 15.
