Now Playing: All The E3 2019 Press Conferences: Xbox, Nintendo, Bethesda, Ubisoft, And More - GS News Update

E3 2019 kicks off very soon, and while some companies won't be in attendance (namely Sony), Microsoft will be there and has promised to "go big." The company behind Xbox One will be the only console giant with a live E3 press conference (Nintendo is once again doing a pre-recorded Direct presentation), with the Xbox livestream scheduled to take place today, June 9.

Microsoft has a big show planned, and there are rumors the company will reveal its next-gen Xbox console. In fact, Microsoft is teasing Scarlett, as it's reportedly codenamed, ahead of the event.

That isn't to say Microsoft is completely ignoring the Xbox One. On the contrary, quite a few of the games already confirmed to be at E3 2019 will be making their way onto Xbox One. We've compiled the full list below, and will continue to update it as additional titles are announced prior to and during E3. EA Play brought us a good look at a number of Xbox One games on Saturday, but even more from the biggest one--Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order--is coming during the Xbox briefing.

Other than its rumored next-gen console, Microsoft's biggest planned E3 presentation (based solely on what's been announced) is Halo Infinite. The sixth mainline game in the franchise, Halo Infinite was first teased during E3 2018. A year later, Halo Infinite game director Chris Lee is scheduled to discuss more details about the game during E3 2019. Little is currently known about what Lee plans on discussing, but 343 Industries boss Bonnie Ross has teased one of the topics will be Halo Infinite's use of the studio's new SlipSpace engine and what it's capable of from a technical standpoint. Halo Infinite has been described as a "spiritual reboot" to the Halo series. The game might have more RPG mechanics than its predecessors too, and its multiplayer and single-player may release separately.

Though they haven't been confirmed for E3 2019, several other Xbox One console exclusives could show up during the show. Gears 5 (now confirmed for a Fall 2019 release), Battletoads, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Sea of Solitude, Session, and Tunic (all of which were showcased during E3 2018) are all scheduled to release in 2019. Chances are some--if not all--will be at E3 this year.

Even if none of those games show up at E3 this year though, plenty of other games coming to Xbox One are. Some, like Respawn's aforementioned Jedi Fallen Order and Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, are already scheduled to release this year, so we may see gameplay from both of those.

I don't get why MS doesn't build and license game engines. Software development and tools are literally what they do. I'm sure they could easily craft a better version of an Unreal engine if they wanted to.

HaloI, DoomE, BL 3, & maybe CP2077 in that order is what I am interested. Seems lackluster overall though, as those games don't elicit extreme excitement (except for Halo & Doom) & man is the month of pre-E3 just dull.

Gimme games such as a new Predator, Aliens, Terminator, Spiderman, Hulk, Avengers, Crysis 4 & Ridge Racer 6, then you get my blood going. Gimme an open world Predator vs Aliens vs Terminator and then you rock my world...imagine that!

@just1mohr: Does Gears Of War 5, Ori and the Will of the Wisps or battletoads interest you? None of those games made the list because the idiot who wrote it forgot to put them in there but those are solid exclusive games

@doomsdayhell01: Actually the 4 games I mentioned did elicit excitement in me when I first heard about them & even Rage 2, and watched a few hours of video game plays. But that fist look excitement wore off & I am really referencing newly amped excitement for new E3 announcements. If that is the sole list then it will be a lackluster E3 and so I am truly hoping for big surprises. GoW 5 will rock, can't wait & Battletoads looks very cool, but I don't play fighting games for long though.

@just1mohr: LOL Ridge Racer 6. I assume you mean for backwards compatibilit which would be a weird announcement for one game unless they announce a slew of them. I myself am hoping for some more original Xbox games since it’s been way too long from when we had some news ones :(

@ryuburger: Both RR6 bc & the sequel. I have high hopes for MechAssault, as I see so many requesting that since the beginning of BC announcements.

Battletoads had better show it's slimy ass at E3. Been waiting years to see this game and they gave me a serious case of blue-toad-balls last year with that teaser. There's also a lot of 'evidence' leaning towards RARE doing more work with it's classic IPs.

@skyhighgam3r: Would love to see a multi-player Kameo, as that game was a fun couch co-op masterpiece that I played with friends for hours on end.

@just1mohr: ...wait hold up. Kameo had couch co-op!? I played it a touch back at the X360 launch, but I literally just re-bought it from the sale like an hour ago lol.

@skyhighgam3r: Split screen co-op, we played for so many hours and we all felt the same, it is a hidden gem and holds a special place in our memories.

Some nice games, but no surprises. With PS4 a no show everyone will want to show their game on the Xbox stage anyway.
