While Tom Clancy's Elite Squad is far from a new Splinter Cell game, the appearance of Sam Fisher at least builds hope that Ubisoft will make a new game in the franchise in the near future. The last Splinter Cell game we got was Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013.
