E3 2019: Elder Scrolls Online Elsweyr Trailer Shows Fiery Dragon
Can you really kill a dragon, though?
Dragons haven't taken over Bethesda's E3 2019 presentation, but they're heading back to The Elder Scrolls Online's Tamriel. With the new Elsweyr DLC, Bethesda debuted a new cinematic trailer showing a fierce battle between a ferocious dragon and an assortment of adventurers. You can check out the flashy trailer above.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is the latest expansion for the open-world MMORPG. Though it arrived on June 4, Elsweyr takes adventurers to the Khajit homeland, and effectively acts as an excellent jumping off point for new and returning players. The new DLC also brings a new class in the form of the Necromancer, which allows players to raise an army of the dead to do handle business.

This piece of DLC is part of a larger set of offerings called the Season of the Dragon. The first piece, which began earlier this year with Wrathstone, gave players a new dungeon to explore. Then comes Elsweyr, which will introduce new story quests and dragons. The final two pieces of DLC, releasing later this year, will likely include additional story content and dungeons to explore.
ESO creative director Rich Lambert told GameSpot that the team is "really going into the heartland, showing what Khajit culture is, and how they've evolved over the ages. We spent a lot of time reflecting on what the fans wanted, in trying to bring that Elder Scrolls feel into the game."
The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, as a standalone upgrade, retails for $40 USD / $57 AUD / £31 GBP.
