Bethesda is bringing back Rage 2 with id Software and Avalanche Studios at the helm for development. An official announcement and reveal trailer have already happened, but during Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference, an extensive gameplay trailer was showcased which you can watch above.

Rage 2 is an open world first-person shooter set in a post-apocalypse that share similarities to 2016's Doom. Plenty of fast-paced combat was shown off along with a handful of abilities. A few snippets of story were also included in the gameplay trailer. Rage 2 had been previously announced--following a leak by Walmart Canada, which Bethesda VP Pete Hines acknowledged during the briefing.

In the middle of Rage 2's presentation, we also learned about the game's collector's edition in unusual fashion. Beyond that, we also learned about Elder Scrolls VI, Starfield, and Fallout 76, among a number of other things.

You can expect Rage 2 to launch in Spring 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on Bethesda's E3 2018 showcase, keep up with our news roundup.
