Fallout 76 may be a prequel to all existing Fallout games, but it will set a new precedent for size. During Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference, Bethesda took to the stage to announce that the game will be "four times larger" than Fallout 4. Get a look at the announcement in the video above.

In Fallout 76, you'll play as one of the first people to emerge from Vault 76, out into an untamed wasteland. In terms of level design, the world in Fallout 76 is Bethesda's "biggest one yet." In a new trailer, unveiled at the press conference, we got a new look at that wasteland along with Vault 76 itself.

Now Playing: Todd Howard Shows Off Fallout 76 At Xbox E3 2018

The trailer opens with a character wearing a very old looking Power Armor. It then showed off the world, which has a different, more vibrant look to it compared to previous games. Since Fallout 76 is all about rebuilding, this is the environment players will be tasked with saving.

Fallout 76 is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and will be available for preorder June 15. We're sure to get a more in-depth look at Bethesda's press conference tonight at 6:30 PM PT, and you can watch it here.
