E3 2018: EA Reveals Origin Access Premier Subscription

During EA's E3 2018 press conference, the publisher revealed Origin Access Premier, a new tier within the Origin Access subscription service. Among other things, it will give access to even more games in the EA online library. Origin Access Premier is slated to launch sometime this summer.

EA shared few details about Origin Access Premier, but the membership will give full access to EA's PC games. Among those specifically singled out during the press conference were FIFA 19, BioWare's Anthem, and Madden NFL 19, which will mark the series' return to PC for the first time in more than a decade. Additionally, a Premier membership grants unlimited access to The Sims 4.

A Premier membership unlocks all the benefits of Origin Access Basic, the subscription service that gives players unlimited access to more than 95 PC games as long as they have an active membership. EA didn't share a release date for Origin Access Premier, but the publisher did announce that fans will be able to sign up for a free trial of Origin Access Basic now through June 17.

Origin Access Premier will cost $15 US per month or $100 per year. The publisher also announced a separate streaming service but shared no additional details.
