Really hope it is not the same as Elder Scrolls Online. Massive fan off the fallout franchise and hope this lives up to the hype. Really enjoyed this analysis of the Bethesda E3 event https://www.sp-bx.com/bethesdas-e3-showcase-fallout-76-details-and-news/

You can tell that Walmart leak prior to e3 really hurt their presentation. My guess was that Rage 2 and Fallout 76 were to be featured heavily. But because half their presentation of Fallout was in Microsoft's stage, and Rage 2 already revealed, they probably had a huge gaping hole in their briefing. Which they filled with 10 second clips of games we want to see but are nowhere near the level of completion to show anything of worth eg. Starfield, Doom Eternal, ES6 even Wolfenstein was a short clip. Good thinking to be sure but it couldn't have been easy to slap together those trailers in a month. Points to them for improvising, but like everyone else I wanted more of the last 2 games and less on the mobile nonsense...which was actually pretty cool this time around.

Great show Bethesda although the band was awful, the best show so far.

Started off kinda ass but boy it got better.

Right behind MS for best conference so far. Either way this E3 has been amazing so far and we're not even halfway done.

I'd say it's safe to say that Bethesda wins E3 this year. Gonna be hard to top these announcements...

@m4a5: Whaaat? They didn't have a single decent announcement. The best thing they showed was the Skyrim Very Special Edition, and that was fake! EDIT: Apparently, it was not fake! 🤗

@asnakeneverdies: For a developer/publisher (and not a console creator like MS or Sony), they hit it out of the park for new content and even the jokes (getting Key to make fun of Skyrim was awesome).

The fallout details were a surprise (sounds like a fun game to troll in), their new space IP was a tease, and no one was expecting an Elder Scrolls tease.

It was pretty consistent after the awkward start.

@m4a5: They're not a developer, they're a publisher. There were many developers there today whose work was on display. You're so mistaken, it's not even funny.

@asnakeneverdies: I said they're a publisher. You pay attention and I TOTALLY respect your opinion /sarcasm

@m4a5: You said, developer/publisher, singling out BGS and Bethesda.

So unless your next reply responds to my response, I don't care to hear it.

While Bethesda started off their conference on a relatively cringe worthy note (trust me I’m no stranger to cringe 😉 ) it started to pick up closer to the end of their presentation. It was a smart move saving their big heavy hitters for last (Fallout, Elder Scrolls, etc…) but in terms of overall presentation I would say this conference lay somewhere in the mediocre to good range.

Definitely above EA but IMO not on par with Microsoft’s.

Still, it was a relatively good showing for Bethesda and that Elder Scrolls 6 announcement at the end really brought the house down.

I did not expect an Elder Scrolls 6 tease! Good conference.

@gamingdevil800: That was just a random landmass they rendered just so they could splash the title over it. We don't even know if they used canonical heightmaps! That was a disgrace, Monkey!

That band at the beginning... yeah...
