E3 2018: Beautiful Xbox One Platformer, Ori And The Will Of The Wisps, Gets New Trailer

A new trailer for a whimsical adventure.

Ori And The Will Of The Wisps is the follow-up to the independent hit Ori And The Blind Forest, and the new game was showcased during Microsoft's E3 press conference with a gorgeous gameplay trailer. The Ori series is known for its beautifully whimsical art style, and that's in full display in the gameplay clips. But the trailer also a notable rendition of the 2D side-scrolling "Metroidvania" genre and combat and abilities were shown off.

Despite the 2D gameplay, the art-style makes backgrounds pop out while silky smooth animation makes fights a joy to watch unfold. If you want to get a better idea of how the Ori series plays, read our Ori And The Blind Forest review.
