E3 2018: Huge Inflatable Fortnite Battle Bus Will Fly Over Los Angeles This Week

In what will surely be one of the more unique and over-the-top marketing activities at E3 2018, Epic will fly an inflatable Battle Bus inspired by Fortnite over Los Angeles this week for the big show. Epic's director of video production shared an image of the bus on Twitter this week after a site test.

It is a very large inflatable, coming in at 40x30 feet. And as you can see in the image, it looks pretty close to what the actual in-game battle bus looks like with its blue colour scheme and balloon. Presumably this inflatable is piloted from the ground; and hopefully no one jumps out of it.

Presumably, the inflatable battle bus will fly over the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is the site of E3. Epic has a lot more planned for Fortnite at E3, including a celebrity pro-am doubles tournament and an invite-only party. Given how much money Fortnite brings in, we expect the party to be a truly over-the-top affair. We'll report back with images and details from it.

In other Fortnite news, the game is rumoured to be launching for Nintendo Switch. If you believe Chance the Rapper, the game could be out on Nintendo's console this week.
