E3 2017: Assassin's Creed Origins' Full Skill Tree
Warrior, Hunter, and Seer.
Assassin's Creed Origins was officially revealed today at Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference, and it moves the series in the action-RPG direction. A large part of that is the inclusion of a skill tree.
At a Ubisoft event during E3 2017, GameSpot got a chance to play an hour of the next instalment in the Assassin's Creed series on Xbox One X. We'll have gameplay footage up soon, but for now, you can see the full set of unlockable abilities for protagonist Bayek below. It's broken up into three overlapping branches: Hunter, Warrior, and Seer.
Hunter
The Hunter class is for those who favor archery. It also includes abilities tied to Bayek's eagle, Senu, who can scout ahead for you to spot enemies and points of interest.
Warrior
Warrior is pretty self-explanatory; if you prefer to use brute force, these are the abilities for you.
Seer
Seer abilities mainly include the use of tools and tricks, like smokescreens. It's sort of like a rogue class and is the most nebulous of the three categories.
Assassin's Creed Origins launches on October 27 and will feature 4K gameplay on the newly detailed Xbox One X. Stay tuned for more Assassin's Creed news and gameplay in the coming days, and be sure to check our E3 hub for all the latest announcements from this year's show.
