Assassin's Creed Origins has officially been unveiled at E3. Microsoft's press conference is underway, and Ubisoft has announced the latest installment in the series will take players to Egypt, confirming all the prior rumors.
Assassin's Creed Origins will launch on October 27, 2017 and will include 4K gameplay on the newly revealed Xbox One X.
Origins tells the story of one man, Bayek, the last Madjay and protector of his community. The game introduces deeper RPG elements to the series. Combat looks to be a bit like Dark Souls', with more emphasis on countering, and there's a slow-mo jump when using a bow that is reminiscent of Breath of the Wild. There are rideable camels, and you can also control a bird of prey that can identify areas of interest for you.
Previous rumors said Assassin's Creed Origins would have a Gold Edition that comes with the game, a Deluxe Pack, a Season Pass, and a steelbook case. There is no word yet on what kind of extra content fans can expect from the Deluxe Pack and Season Pass, but the leak suggested people who pre-order will get the Secrets of the First Pyramids mission.
