The only surprise here was NBA Live '18. It's just sad that they're still even trying with that franchise.

Was dreaming of Skate 4 and A new Deadspace, but overall I came away pretty excited about the coming year of gaming. Good job EA. F.,, the haters.

Hope MS Knox it out the park.

The only good thing from EA's conference is 'A Way Out' and that's not even made by EA. Overall poor show if you ask me.

@happylad: You don't actually think they are going to disclose in their conference how they plan to extort us with content and rip us off do you?

Avatar image for happylad

@jdc6305: they're normally pretty open about it...

A way out looks intersting. Battlefront 2 looks incredible but the free dlc makes it a definite buy for me. What the hell has gotten into EA?

This is the first fifa I'm skiping since 1998. Don't judge me. I will break free!

@Aleperez75: Same here, man. They don't do anything for me anymore. Not to mention the scripting they've built into it the ai.

Avatar image for dee1888x1

@Foxhound71: I would say buy Pes, as I've been playing it since the SNES days, but for some reason Konami have been pumping it full of script aswell. I still have hope for 2018 though, lots of complaints will hopefully see them tone the script down.

Eh...A Way Out and Battlefront 2 are the only notable things from this. Maybe Anthem once we see more of it tomorrow.

A Way Out is the only thing that interested me in the slightest from this conference. A swath of more boring sports games, some DLC, a Destiny wannabe from "BioWare," and more on Battlefront 2 that I'm not interested in atm, because I got stung on buying BF1. Hopefully tomorrow is more impressive. I don't care about the Microsoft conference, but I'm eager to see what Bethesda has in store.

I never really cared for EA BUT....

FREE DLC AND MAP PACKS FOR THE GAME'S LIFESPAN IS AWESOME!!!

In a world of bulls*** DLC, EA might be bringing back the good old days where $60 actually buys a WHOLE GAME xD

The most underwhelming presentation I've ever seen. Plagued with annual boring sports games...yuck

It would be good if they could put out a decent basketball game to compete with 2k.

Wow, and I thought last year's conference was bad. I don't know why EA even bothered to show up.

I love a way out. Love the co op concept. We NEED more co op games and this looks good. And the seed concept seems promising. Also nice renditions of the national league games. But. They didn't answer the main battlefront 2 questions. They just repeated the answers we already know. Are we gonna have good space battles like in the og battlefront 2. Are we gonna have ground to space battles. Or at least like a bespin were we could go to cloud city and back. Are there vehicles in the map or do they spawn in. Cause spawning vehicles is gay. Can we hijack vehicles. Is there instant action. Is there a small campaign for the clone wars. Why do eras cross over in multiplayer matches. That's weird. Any more vr shit like for the last one? Lots of questions but I think ea tried and I'm proud of them for not doing a season pass. Last complaint is for ea to put "challenge everything" back in their slogan.

@spiddyman007: it would look amazing if the animations didnt look so terrible, the concept is great...other than the concept it falls flat to me

Avatar image for Barighm

@soulfulDAGGER: Dead Space is officially dead. No, really. EA has actually said not to expect any more.

Avatar image for xenomorphalien

@soulfulDAGGER: They ain't gonna announce a new Battlefield anytime soon. Dead Space is probably dead at this point

This was absolutely horrible, was expecting some word on other Star wars titles, but nope, not even a glimpse. Really disappointed.

Avatar image for gamingdevil800

@Acillatem1993: I know its so stupid EA signed a 10 year deal to make star wars games in 2013... And what have we got since then? Just battlefront 1 & 2....

Avatar image for Barighm
Barighm

@gamingdevil800: We've been seeing rumours for a new KotoR-like RPG and Mass Effect-like Star Wars game for years. Surprised they haven't taken advantage of that. I enjoyed Mass Effect but, let's face it, if the games played exactly the same way, the setting wouldn't really make all that much of a difference.

I thought this conference was freakin weak as hell. No madden gameplay at all. No mass effect dlc. Just a bunch of panicky guys who didnt rehearse, fifa crap, and gay star wars.

Avatar image for Daian

@casshan01: ME was a failure and no one was remotely interested in DLC for it, Madden is whatever as always and calling Star Wars gay shows your infantile age.

Avatar image for casshan01

@Daian: oh screw you dude! Star wars has been done to death. Storm troopers and boba fetts and whatever else ARE NOT MENACING. Franchise shouldve stayed in the past. So sick of seeing light sabers and vader. GET OVER THAT CRAP ALREADY!

Avatar image for deactivated-59578f923f062

Avatar image for domiddian

@fanboysaretrash: "Anthem looks to be a Xbox exclusive"

Pahahahahaha! Why? Because it said about gameplay being shown at Microsoft's conference? More likely that MS has a timed exclusivity deal on certain content. There's no way they'd be stupid enough to make the full game Xbox exclusive.

Avatar image for dev-raid1

@domiddian: EA and microsoft have a deal, i think it was announced when the xbox one was announced
