FIFA 17 Trailer Showcases New Story Mode

FIFA 17 will follow the story of a character named Alex Hunter as he makes his way up the English Premier League.

[UPDATE] At EA's E3 press conference, Peter Moore said we'll "live in real football worlds and meet characters full of depth and animation" in FIFA 17's The Journey story mode. He also announced that Premier League managers are in the game for the first time. There will be four managers in FIFA 17, including Arsenal's Arsène Wenger and Manchester United's Jose Mourinho.

A trailer for this year's FIFA 17 has been released by EA. The trailer showcases what looks like a new story mode, which follows character Alex Hunter as he makes his way into the English Premier League. You can check it out for yourself in the embed above.

Now Playing: FIFA 17 - The Journey Trailer

The trailer revolves around Hunter's rise to playing for Manchester United. Some of the cutscenes show Hunter meeting managers, looking at expensive living spaces, and standing in the locker room before a game. There are also several characters who make multiple appearances. And yes, there's even some soccer in there, too.
