Devil's Third, the long-in-development action game from Tomonobu Itagaki and Valhalla Game Studios, is now a Wii U-exclusive. Nintendo announced the news today at E3. The game was revealed in 2010, and was originally intended to be published by the now-defunct THQ for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

After THQ went bankrupt in 2012, the game's fate was left in the balance. However, Itagaki reclaimed the Devil's Third rights from THQ and said late last year that the game was 80 percent complete and on schedule for a release in 2014.

I'm not really interested in this game, but I think it's great Nintendo is adding more variety to an awesome list of exclusives for the Wii U. Even better that this is third party developed.

TBH only the multiplayer looked interesting the rest of this game seems generic...

Tbh, I was vexed at first sight of the news but after seeing this trailer, I'm not so upset... The game looked way better to me in the original trailer. Idk why Itagaki changed the main character so much, but I'm still glad he got a shot to put the game out.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I love Itagakis games and was really looking forward to it. But I guess it's as good as cancelled being I'll never get a Wii U. I've been waiting for news on this game forever and am so disappointed that his game is a Wii U exclusive (of all the places).

I am also a big Ninja Gaiden Black fan I also like NG2 and partially can put up with NG3 so I hoped for more stylish action at least on the Xbox or PC.

I saw the multiplayer and single player demo on ign. And from what I have seen I am in. Especially with that multiplayer. It is nice to have cool games on the wii u. And if people don't like this tough. If third parties supported the machine nintendo would not have to buy the games you may have wanted for other systems. So come in or complain over a game. Seriously so pretend this or bayonetta is like nintendo getting fallout as a exclusive.
