E3 2014: Assassin's Creed Unity E3 Poster Shows Four Characters

if they would just end this series already and make a new ip i would be so happy.

Considering the guy on the left is only visible by his torso and the only distinct character is the second guy (the other two are dressed in drab brown, hardly the colour's you would use to define a protagonist), those other characters are more likely to be critical story NPCs.

Uuh, pickaxe! Digging confirmed! Actually, wouldn't that be awesome? Dig a tunnel inside the enemy fortress, build cover and hiding spots on the go, the ultimate form of stealth!

The tall tower is called “Notre-Dame de Paris” or “Notre-Dame Cathedral”.

It's just their 'brotherhood' thing. Y'know, press a button to call some useless assassins.

I'm sure am not the only one that disliked the 3 character thingy in GTA V...I dunno but I really have trouble getting into 4 "main" characters in one game..

They'll probably be four separate day-one DLC characters. They'll be $15 each or free with a pre-order at certain retailers. You'll pay $60 for the game then you have to buy one of their storyline's to play the single-player campaign.

hmm,nope gonna skip this one if im gonna be jumping between 4 different characters, If there is only 1 character i like il be rushing through the game to get back to the part with him, I would prefer they put in a character creation option at the start of the game,get bored with the characters they lumber us with .

They figured if they added 4 one dimensional characters it might stack up to additively to a story with some depth.

Looks more like 3 and a half characters

It's going to be like GTA5 where you switch between characters.

I'm probably wrong, but right to left,that looks like the new guy, old Altair (ACR), Ezio (AC2) or Edward (AC4), and Connor drawing his bow. Like I said, probably wrong.

The next Assassin's Creed game will be a turn-based RPG. I guarantee it.

This Most likely means co-op however it would cool if there were 4 different main characters/assassins and 4 different time periods. It would be like 4 games in one.

The last I played was AC3, and after what they did in that game I didn't want to play d series any more... Hope they dont f**% it up...

AC games come out way too close to each other. I didn't even have time to play black flag....give me 2-3 years guys come on. :P

What worries me about it possibly being 4 player co op is that if it has offline co op then the camera angle is going to have to be birds eye view and that doesn't sound very fun for an assassin's creed game. I would prefer if the game had 4 different main characters instead.

well, the subtitle is Unity so the game probably feature 4 badass assassins unites. I really wish it means 4 lead characters just like Rockstar did on GTA V. It's a next gen game so it won't be too hard to push 4 campaigns on it right?

I'm not passing judgment until I see trailers and gameplay footage, but I have to admit that I'm finding it harder and harder to care about this franchise. AC4 was a step up from 3 no question, but its getting old for me. I'm just not a yearly release kind of person.
