E3 2002: Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights preshow report

THQ has released the first screenshots of Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights for the GameCube. The game will feature the entire original cast of the show, including Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy, as well as a host of classic villains from a variety of episodes. You play as the hapless Scooby-Doo as he attempts to save his friends from a dubious mastermind who has kidnapped them. There will be 12 levels in the game, and they will take Scooby through a creepy mansion, a graveyard, and a dark cave. Scooby will have access to a number of gadgets and must collect Scooby snacks and a variety of other power-ups. In the final version of the game, there will be 20 different monsters, bonus DVD features, and familiar voice talent.

Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights for the GameCube is currently scheduled for release in the fall. Look for more on the game in the near future.
