E3 2002: NHL Hitz 2003 unveiled

Midway has been showing off a video of its upcoming hockey game, NHL Hitz 2003, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo today. Much of the game appears to be the same as last year's game, but a few tweaks and changes have been made. The major change is that player models have been made larger and the hockey rinks are a bit smaller. This change has been made to add a little more action to the game, losing a bit of the hockey reality in exchange for bigger, harder checks.

In addition to the scale change, NHL Hitz 2003 will feature a full-fledged season mode. NHL Hitz 2003 is scheduled to ship later this year on all platforms.
