JoWood Entertainment will be showing off a nearly complete build of Industry Giant II, its upcoming management strategy game sequel, at the 2002 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. The game begins in the year 1900, when the Industrial Revolution is in full swing. You assume the role of an entrepreneur in charge of a company of your choice. You'll take advantage of mass production and new advancements in technology to lead your company through the decades to the 1980s. While running your company, you'll have to manage a wide variety of elements, including obtaining raw materials, overseeing your transportation and distribution network, and managing the sales and advertising for your products.

The new game will feature an intuitive point-and-click interface, an interactive tutorial, and adjustable difficulty settings. It will also contain more than 150 different products that you can produce and sell. You'll choose to play either a continuous campaign or a mission-based campaign, and you'll be able to play against computer opponents or against other players in the game's multiplayer mode.

We've posted some new screenshots from the game in the gallery above. Industry Giant II is scheduled for release this summer.
