Following this week's announcement that all forthcoming Grand Theft Auto games through 2004 would be exclusively available on the PlayStation 2, GameSpot has learned that this deal will not affect the possibility of PC releases. A Take Two representative confirmed that the exclusivity deal would only apply to video game platforms, and that the newly announced Grand Theft Auto: Vice City would eventually find its way to the PC just as Grand Theft Auto III has.

In addition, Take Two and Rockstar Games have announced that DMA Design, the Scotland-based developer of the GTA series, will henceforth be known as Rockstar North.
