Activision announced today that it will be publishing Disney's Tarzan: Return to the Jungle for the Game Boy Advance. The sequel to the popular Game Boy Color game lets players take control of Tarzan as both man and child in search of the Fountain of Youth and the Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs, reliving the latest adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs' character.

"Disney's Tarzan: Return to the Jungle allows fans of the animated franchise to visit Tarzan's legendary world for an all-new, action adventure game," said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president of Activision Worldwide Studios. "The technological advances of Game Boy Advance make this sequel more fun and exciting than its wildly successful predecessor."

The Tarzan character will wield a boomerang, spear, and his animal call, with which he can enlist the aid of jungle companions. Tarzan can swing from vine to vine, swim, and tree-surf as he defends Jane, Terk, and Professor Porter. Disney's Tarzan: Return to the Jungle is being developed by Digital Eclipse, the creator of Disney's Tarzan for the Game Boy Color, and is slated for release this fall.
