E3 2002: Contra Advance screenshots

On display at Konami's private pre-E3 press event was Contra Advance for Nintendo's handheld. The game looks to be an exact remake of Contra III: The Alien Wars, which was originally released for the Super Nintendo in 1992, although only the side-scrolling levels were on display--none of the overhead missions were shown.

Contra Advance can be played cooperatively using the Game Boy Advance link cable, and it's scheduled for release this November. We'll have impressions from the show floor, but in the meantime, take a look at these new screenshots.
