Agetec, the publisher of the Armored Core series, will be bringing a second rendition of its Designer Series of games to the PlayStation 2. The Fighter Maker series gives players the opportunity to custom-create their own fighting game, with new moves and hand-built animations for their fighters. Fighter Maker 2 expands upon the first Fighter Maker by letting players also manipulate each character's face, clothing, skin type, body type, and more. The two-player mode will even let players challenge friends with opposing sets of created characters.

"Fighter Maker 2 offers a suite of 3D construction tools that enables players to custom-design their own fighting characters," said Kevin Sullivan, vice president of marketing and business development for Agetec. "The player has complete control over every movement, both offensive and defensive, for their characters."

Fighter Maker 2 is currently scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2002.
