E3 2001 First ImpressionsTetris Worlds

The tried-and-true Tetris formula is getting revamped for next-generation hardware. We have details.

For years, developers have been trying to figure out ways to revamp the tried-and-true formula that made Tetris one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. THQ tries its hand at reinventing the classic puzzle game with Tetris Worlds for the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, and GameCube. The concept behind Tetris Worlds is an odd one. Tetris Worlds will be arriving on the PC, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance this fall, followed by a GameCube release in 2002.
