E3 2001: Exclusive Xbox game revealed

Lionhead satellite studio Big Blue Box has revealed its first game for the Microsoft Xbox. The company is currently developing an action-RPG titled Project Ego--it is also being referred to internally as Heroes. The game's story takes place in the organic and lush world of Albion. However, Albion isn't without its perils. Thieves lurk in the shadows of the market towns, strange noises ring through the night air at the riverside, storms wreak havoc on the coastal villages, and villagers tell stories of demons.

As the game's lead character enters the world of Albion, the lives of its natives are altered forever. Project Ego is currently on schedule to be released this fall in Japan and North America exclusively for the Microsoft Xbox.
