E3 '07: Resident Evil 5 Trailer Impressions

OH YEAH!! this is gonna be awesome, but the wait's so long!!

I hate having to wait, but it"ll be worth it

Im not worried about the gameplay at all and the physics of it but what about the story. RE4 had a great story idk about this one though

is it me or is the 360 just absolutely whippin the hell out of the ps3 as far as huge titles are concerned....every game i couldve hoped for is on or coming to the 360

I really can't wait to see how this one comes out. I loved the original evil umbrella \ 'zombie' games... but then I loved resident evil 4 even more. I'm betting this is one of the top games to look forward to.

It looks superb, i think there will be zombies in the game except they'll be smarter and faster than they used to be( kind of like Dawn of the Dead 2004) I hope it is ready by next year.

why not creating a version for the graphic engine of the Wii?

Riviera_Phantom sad that resident evil isnt about zombies anymore.. BEcause they are cliched. It' good to vary it a little bit and i bet you there will be some zombies. Because anime isn't cliched?

I hope this game doesn't follow the same boring, disjointed and often confusing main plot of Resident Evil 1 through Vornica.

I just want this game to move the main plot forward unlike four.

oh man, this game is the one i've been looking forward to almost as much as Halo 3!!! I don't think we can count umbrella out of the picture yet either, they weren't the culprit in 4 but still played a major backhanded role.

Taking away zombies and ending the the whole umbrella incident was the smartest thing capcom did. You can only extend that story to a limit, and most importantly, it was getting boring. Good thing they have new storylines with innovative gameplay. For those interested into zombie killing. Play Dead Rising or wait for RE:UC

Come on Capcom! Hurry up!

I'll definately keep an eye out on this one, being a Resident Evil fan since the days of the PSone......this looks really interesting.

Wow, anything after no.4 had better be good, but as long as they keep the same feel and set-up as that one it'll be a winner. Fast enemies better have decent AI, though.

Meh, I'm more interested for Umbrella Chronicles, as soon as I completed Resi 4 I thought, man i hope they release a game which aims like that and has zombies, and resi umbrella chronicles is the closest I'll get, the running zombies will make the game boring and much like other games, I mean if they run there arent going to be so many attacking at a time, or theyll be really easy to kill, they cant put you against 6 running at you when all you have is a rubbish gun, I'm starting to feel disappointment towards this game

Dang the Exclusive...oh well...man this looks good. I wonder how the story line will tie in...or if it will be a stand alone from the rest.

WOW! very impressive! I can't wait to launch a new horror journey! Capcom is very independent and experienced when launching this new installment so I become more exhilirated to have a try!!!

I definately preferred the old R.E. style. When it was more about figuring out the puzzles then the killing. R.E. 4 was a good game don't get me wrong and this one will prob be good too, but I kinda wish they could go back to the old style with better controls. I miss my old slow, moaning, zombies and wandering corridor after corridor searching for that item that you need. At least we still have S.H.5 to look forward to, I hope they haven't screwed that up and changed it.

wow, not a word about this in nearly two years. hopefully all that time was put into good use. i absolutely loved re4 and if this game's anything as good as re4 ill most likely get it.

To the guy who said it was Chris because of the S.T.A.R.S. patch, look closer it doesn't say S.T.A.R.S. at all. I do still believe that it is Chris, he just may be working under a new agency, maybe with some of the surviving members of S.T.A.R.S. and others. The patch didn't resemble the S.T.A.R.S., U.B.C.S, or U.C.F. patches, it looks more like a globe with 4 letters in the middle.

This looks awesome. I wonder how this will connect with the RE storyline. RE0 has a flashback cutscene that looked somewhat like this, so maybe something happened in the past few years.
