SANTA MONICA, Calif.--Much ado has been made recently on whether Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will surface on the Xbox 360 in addition to the PlayStation 3. What is certain, though, is that PlayStation 3 gamers will have a jump on everyone hoping to watch and rewatch the trailer for Kojima Productions' upcoming stealth actioner.

Posting to Sony's PlayStation blog, senior public relations manager Patrick Seybold announced today the latest Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer will be available for download exclusively through the PlayStation Store immediately following Sony's press conference. The conference is slated for tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. PT, with an approximate run time of one hour. However, it should be noted that Sony's conference last year began nearly an hour after its scheduled start time.

At last year's E3, the lauded MGS4 trailer was shown in two editions. The first, shown during Sony's press event, was the abbreviated version, clocking in at about three and a half minutes. The far longer version was shown during Konami's press conference, which took place the following day. Seybold did not mention whether the MGS4 trailer shown during this year's event would be similarly truncated. However, Seybold did say that the trailer will be displayed in high-definition, accompanied by 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound.
