It's also got a clumsy new name.

Koei Tecmo has announced its upcoming Berserk action game will be available on February 21 in North America and February 24 in Europe.

The game has also been officially titled "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk," which doesn't quite make sense because the main character is called Guts, not Berserk. Koei has also released a new trailer showing off some of the playable characters.

If you're not familiar with the source material, Berserk is a dark fantasy series set in medieval Europe. It follows a character called Guts as he explores issues of morality and human nature, often within the context of battle. The series has inspired many video games, most prominently Dark Souls.

The Berserk anime series ended in 1998, but a second started airing in 2016. Kentaro Miura, who wrote the original manga series, is serving as executive supervisor on the new anime.

Berserk and the Band of Hawk is developed by Omega Force, the team behind the Dynasty Warriors series. More recently it has been developing spin-offs such as Hyrule Warriors, which is set in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda universe, and Attack on Titan.

In GameSpot's Attack on Titan review, Alexa Ray Corriea awarded it a 6/10.

"Well-trod musou layout aside, battling titans and swinging through the skies with futuristic military gear can be an enjoyable experience--if you can look past its glaring flaws," she said.
