Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna demo downloadable

In an effort to woo role-playing gamers hesitant to shell out $29.99 for Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, Microsoft and Mad Doc Software have released a demo version of the new expansion pack.

Downloadable from GameSpot's DLX, the demo contains a map from the game's single-player campaign. It was unclear which part of Aranna the demo was taken from, but chances are will contain elements of the game's story, which concerns a lost race of mad sorcerers, and the RPG's gameplay, which features a whole bunch of crate-smashin'.
