Duke Nukem Forever 'awfully sexist,' says Fox News

Bottom line, it's a Mature game. Any impressionable youngsters shouldn't be playing. I highly doubt that anyone 18 or over will have their views skewed by Duke. Fox needs to understand that the games industry isn't just for kids anymore.

Funniest thing thought, a while back gamespot posted a video of a woman,(a dev I think), playing the game and she was quite happy playing the game. She even said that she loves to pee on every toilet she could find in the game! I understand this sexsist thing but, hold your panties FFS!

It's rated M for the content, so what the big deal.. Hello they allow now PG movies that do that exact same thing, depict sexual acts without showing it, the media encourages you to send your kids to see them. If you are a parent who is stupid enough to buy this game for your kid, you are a bad parent plain and simple as the developers have allowed a M rating to protect your kid, you have to do the rest.

The game is ment to be played by adults, not kids. That's why in the UK we have the age related sales laws. Then if a kid gets it, it's because their parent was stupid enough to by it for them. It ain't the developers fault. The news should just leave games alone. Games are just getting the same treatment that movies first got. This story/headline is a bit misleading. Its not "foxnews says x"... But "feminist organizations say x, and most of the the media report it, including foxnews".

Man, after reading this I just remember when I was a dumb teenager playing Duke 3d, enjoying it quite a lot, and not giving a damn about sexism. Even my girl mates enjoyed the game, one went to the "so called" extreme, to call Duke a "hottie". you know what every time fox get's some crap news and try's to create controversy with it the game manage's to sell well and the fact that Duke Nukem: Forever has been in the works for 15 years or so and I'm pretty sure this game has a lot of pre-order's already.
