Atari today announced that it has shipped two new Duel Masters titles for the PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance. The PS2 game, Duel Masters, is the series' first appearance on Sony's system. Meanwhile, the GBA title. Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown, is the sequel to last year's Duel Masters: Sempai Legends.

Based on the popular manga series, which spawned a trading-card game from Wizards of the Coast, Duel Masters revolves around a group of youngsters who are masters of--what else?--trading-card games. On the PS2, players can enjoy the card game solo or battle against a friend while collecting, trading, and building virtual decks. The GBA title presents a story-driven adventure in which the player must interact with characters from the TV show, solving a mystery and saving the world--while playing the trading-card game, of course.

Both games are rated "E" for Everyone. The PS2 version will carry an SRP of $39.99, and the GBA version will retail for $29.99.
