Driveway Road Rally Revs Up
New Wild Tangent web-based driving game races on the Zone.
Today Microsoft launched Driveway Road Rally, a new web-based arcade driving game featuring classic 1950s cars. A Road Rally racing tournament sponsored by Driveway.com, an online file-storage site, will start in early June to accompany the game's launch. By posting their best race times through the Zone, players can compete for an alluring array of electronics prizes. Go here to play the game on the Zone.
Similar to another recent Zone driving game, Tacoma Adrenaline, Driveway Road Rally uses Wild Tangent's 3D and compression technologies to minimize download and setup time. The game features surprising graphics and gameplay considering the high-quality version is a mere 1.4MB. The Wild Tangent plug-in will be automatically installed before you play the game.
