Dreamfall Chapters PS4, Xbox One Release Date Revealed
Dream come true.
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is finally coming to consoles, with a PS4 and Xbox One release on March 23, 2017.
The port will be published by Deep Silver, the company behind Saints Row and Dead Island, and will include all five episodes released on PC since 2014. It will come to both retail and digital stores, costing $29.99 in the US.
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is the long-awaited follow-up to 2006's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, itself the successor to 1999 title The Longest Journey. Check out the console announcement trailer above.
The latest in the series was funded through Kickstarter in 2013, and eventually raised $1.5 million, nearly double its initial target. That wasn't quite raise enough to guarantee a return of the first game's hero, April Ryan, in the much-anticipated Longest Journey Home, however. It remains to be seen whether that title will eventually release regardless.
