DreamCatcher Interactive, headquartered in Toronto, and Strategy First, headquartered in Montreal, were both recently named to Deloitte & Touche's Canadian Technology Fast 50, a list of the fastest-growing technology companies in the Canadian region as determined by revenue growth over a five-year period.

Strategy First placed ninth in the region with 2,958 percent growth over the last five years, while DreamCatcher secured the 17th place with 2,294 percent growth over the same period.

Edmonton's BioWare garnered the 45th place with a healthy 781 percent five-year growth.

Despite the strong showings, these three game companies were beaten out by the dot-com Entertainment Group, which, among other things, sells online bingo games and placed eighth on the list.
