Encore Software has announced that Dragon's Lair 3D won't make its previously scheduled fall release. The game's development has taken longer than Encore expected, and the game, originally announced for the PC at E3 2000, is now scheduled for release early next year. Dragon's Lair 3D is a remake of the 1983 laser-disc coin-op game that rendered Dirk the Daring and Daphne in full cel-shaded 3D.

Ubi Soft still plans to release the PC and Xbox versions of the game in November. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the PS2 , PS2 , and PS2 versions of the game.
